Diabeloop has developed an artificial pancreas system that uses artificial intelligence to automate insulin delivery for type 1 diabetes patients. This technology aims to improve blood sugar management, reduce complications, and alleviate the daily burden of diabetes care.
20 million people worldwide are affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D), an autoimmune condition leading to the destruction of beta cells of the pancreas producing insulin.
