The BCAST project aims to facilitate the transition to digital radio broadcasting by providing a cloud-based service called DABCAST. This service simplifies the process of digital transmission for small and medium broadcasters, making it more affordable and accessible.
Terrestrial broadcasting digitization is an ongoing process – television across Europe has been already switched to digital standard.
