The DAMOCLES project aims to enhance understanding of atmospheric aerosol particles and their role in climate regulation. It focuses on the formation of ice crystals and secondary particles, using advanced computational methods to improve air quality modeling.
Atmospheric aerosol particles play a key role in regulating the climate, and particulate matter is responsible for most of the 7 million deaths per year attributed to air pollution.
