The DarChemDN project seeks to establish Darwinian Chemistry by creating synthetic chemical systems capable of reproduction and evolution. This initiative aims to enhance the understanding of autocatalytic systems and their applications in various fields, including catalysis and materials science.
Darwinian evolution is unrivalled in its ability to invent, which Humankind has already exploited for various purposes such as plant and animal breeding and directed evolution of proteins.
