DARTRIX develops targeted therapies for glioblastoma using engineered proteins called DARPins, which bind to cancer cells with high affinity. These DARPins are attached to nanoparticles that generate heat when stimulated, effectively destroying tumor cells while minimizing damage to surrounding tissue.
DARTRIX, ‘DARPin Targeted RX (therapy)’ is a multidisciplinary collaborative project that will develop high-affinity protein scaffolds to create a new generation of targeted therapeutics for the treatment of glioblastoma.
