This research aims to improve climate change predictions by addressing systematic errors in computer models that affect regional climate projections. The focus is on enhancing understanding of the dynamics of climate systems to provide more accurate regional climate information.
It is now apparent that climate change is occurring and will continue to occur, and many sectors of society have a growing need for accurate information concerning the nature and extent of this change, at a regional scale, on various timescales to consider together with other risk factors in their planning.
