This project aims to develop innovative adhesives that can be easily debonded on demand using ultraviolet light. These adhesives are intended for various applications, including manufacturing and healthcare, promoting sustainability through easy recycling and reworking.
Adhesives that debond-on-demand through application of an external stimulus are highly relevant for manufacturing (semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, construction, packaging, sportswear), healthcare applications (wound dressing, transdermal patches), and numerous other domains, and they can significantly contribute to the sustainable use of materials (repairing, reworking, recycling).
