DeP2WIND is a project focused on reusing decommissioned offshore petroleum platforms as foundations for wind turbines. It aims to reduce costs and environmental impact by developing a mapping framework that addresses safety, maintenance, and design optimization for these structures.
Seeking offshore green energy sources with the lowest possible cost and carbon footprint, while avoiding any additional oceanic waste, is currently a major challenge.
