This project aims to create new nanomaterials by combining protein design with DNA nanotechnology. It explores methods to control the size and shape of protein assemblies using nucleic acid templates, potentially allowing for advanced applications in biotechnology.
Here I propose to create a new class of designed nanomaterials that will combine the advantageous features of protein design and DNA nanotechnology: nucleic acid-templated protein assemblies.
