This project investigates the mechanisms of tissue boundary formation during zebrafish development. By utilizing live imaging and genetic manipulation, it aims to understand how progenitor cells differentiate and establish boundaries, contributing to our knowledge of embryonic development and potential disease links.
During animal development, boundaries need to be reliably established between cell types to guarantee the physical and functional integrity of tissues.
