This project focuses on developing a new type of ultra-short pulse laser with customizable emission properties. By utilizing a high-Q microring resonator and innovative mode-locking techniques, it aims to create compact, efficient lasers for applications in metrology and telecommunications.
This proposal aims at the development, characterization and control of a novel class of high repetition rate ultra-short pulse lasers featured by stable, flexibly shapeable emission properties combined in an integrated format (i.e. on chip).
