PACE GmbH is developing a toolset for conceptual aircraft design that models novel electrical architectures and their impact on overall aircraft performance. This includes assessing mass, power demand, and cost implications.
Under this proposal PACE GmbH will develop the required functionality using its leading knowledge-based engineering platform Pacelab Suite and the add-on module Pacelab APD for conceptual aircraft design.
Both tools are well-established, industrialised products that offer an excellent basis for extension to consider novel, more electric architectures, and specifically the modelling of avionic and on-board general systems and their impact on the overall aircraft design.
