This project aims to develop alternative strategies for controlling avian influenza viruses by studying their transmission dynamics. It utilizes advanced phylodynamic methods to analyze epidemic patterns and assess the effectiveness of public health interventions to mitigate outbreaks.
Successful public and animal health interventions require detailed knowledge of infectious disease transmission dynamics, in particular how they spread within and between populations.
