This research program investigates how human rights adapt to the digital age, focusing on online privacy, new digital rights, and the role of online platforms. It analyzes the evolution of these rights and the challenges posed by the shift from offline to online interactions.
The proposed research program explores different strategies developed in the digital age within and outside international human rights law to respond to new needs, interests, risks and challenges brought about by transition of inter-personal interactions, social activities and regulatory schemes from offline to online environments.
