DIPLAT focuses on developing advanced processing technologies for ultra-hard materials like diamond to create high-performance tools. By utilizing pulsed laser ablation, it aims to enhance the functionality and machining performance of these tools for various industrial applications.
Diamond and other ultra-hard materials possess outstanding mechanical, wear and thermal properties that make them attractive to manufacture a wide range of high value-added products such as high-performance, smart tools.
