ACAI DEPURACION S.L. has created DISKIFAS, an innovative solution for nitrogen removal in wastewater treatment. This technology combines an anoxic reactor with biodisc technology to efficiently reduce energy consumption while meeting regulatory requirements.
Wastewater treatment plants current main need is to remove nitrogen from waste water with an effective procedure and a reduced energy cost.
This is of particular relevance for small size populations (accounting for up to 70 % of the market), now that the compliance with the regulation is going to be more strictly required.
