This project seeks to provide observational evidence of rotating jets from young stars, which is crucial for validating models of angular momentum extraction during star formation. It aims to confirm the presence of Doppler shifts in various stellar jets and their correlation with disk rotation.
The goal of this project is to provide conclusive observational evidence that jets from young stars rotate.
This evidence will finally validate widely supported models that explain how bipolar jets can extract angular momentum during gravitationally collapse, thus allowing the disk to accrete onto the infant star.
