The DOTOS project investigates the role of a specific gene, DOT1L, in joint development and osteoarthritis. It aims to understand how this gene interacts with signaling pathways to influence joint health and disease progression.
The DOTOS project will study the role of DOT1L in synovial joint development, homeostasis and disease with specific attention towards osteoarthritis (OA), one of the most common chronic diseases.We identified an association between the DOT1L (DOT1-like histone H3 methyltransferase) gene and OA.
