This project focuses on creating new dendrimers with unique luminescent properties for use in molecular photonic devices. It combines synthetic chemistry and advanced spectroscopy to understand and manipulate the optical responses of these materials, aiming to enhance light energy transformation processes.
The goal of this interdisciplinary research project is to develop synthetic methods toward new types of dendrimers with tetrapyrrolic core and (indolo)carbazole dendrons, to reveal and analyse physical and chemical mechanisms of control of the luminescence response of dendrimers, and to create a basis for their resulting applications as molecular photonic devices.
Combined efforts of synthetic chemists, spectroscopists and theoreticians from Western and Eastern Europe will be applied to achieve…
