This project examines the impact of declining pollinator populations on plant communities and ecosystem functions. It involves long-term experiments to understand how changes in pollinator abundance affect plant reproduction and community dynamics.
Pollinator declines in response to land-use intensification have raised concern about the persistence of plant species dependent on insect pollination, in particular by bees, for their reproduction.
