The project focuses on advancing single molecule detection technologies using hybrid DNA and metallic nanostructures. It aims to develop solid-state nanopore platforms capable of identifying biomolecules at extremely low concentrations, enhancing applications in biotechnology and molecular analysis.
In the quest to develop platforms to decipher the information in biomolecules there is an increasingly demand for techniques that are capable of identifying specific biomolecules at the smallest possible concentration, controlling their capturing and movement at the nanoscale.
