E-DYCE aims to create a dynamic energy performance certification methodology for buildings, addressing the shortcomings of static energy labels. By promoting energy-efficient practices and validating the approach across multiple buildings, it seeks to enhance energy management and savings.
Current steady-state energy labels have several shortcomings, but the inherent inability to accurately reflect dynamic and changing conditions is the most impactful one.
