This project aims to improve cognitive tests for early detection and diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment and dementia. By developing both traditional and computerized test formats, it seeks to enhance clinical accuracy and reduce diagnostic errors, ultimately benefiting patients and healthcare systems.
During this fellowship at Dublin City University (Ireland), the researcher will enhance, significantly, the clinical utility of existing traditionally used cognitive tests, particularly as it relates to the early detection and accurate diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and dementia.
