The project focuses on improving public understanding of ionizing radiation risks through better education and communication strategies. It aims to coordinate efforts across Europe to enhance information dissemination and address public concerns, particularly in light of past nuclear incidents.
Education, training and information to the general public are key factors in the governance of ionising radiation risks.
Communication about ionising radiation with the general public has to to be further improved, as highlighted also by the 2011 accident in Japan.
