EAMNet connects Earth Observation information providers and user networks in Europe and Africa to enhance coastal and marine monitoring. The project focuses on building capacity and improving the use of satellite data for sustainable development in Africa, contributing to a continent-wide observation system.
EAMNet aims to construct a network linking Earth Observation (EO) information providers, user networks and centres of excellence in Europe and Africa in the area of coastal and marine observations towards sustainable development in Africa.
The network will undertake capacity building and maintenance and build upon existing infrastructure and expertise in Africa.
