The EC4SafeNano project aims to enhance the safety of nanotechnologies by bridging the gap between research and practical risk management strategies. It focuses on stakeholder needs and developing services to ensure safer, regulated nanotechnology products.
A significant challenge to ensuring sustainable production and use of nanotechnologies is to understand safety and health risks of the technology and its end-products, and to implement practical strategies to manage these risks.
