The ECFAS project aims to develop a European Coastal Flood Awareness System to assess and manage coastal flood risks. It integrates various data sources to improve forecasting and impact assessment, enhancing preparedness and response strategies for coastal areas affected by climate-induced weather events.
The increasing number of tools and algorithms able to process and extract qualitative and quantitative information from Earth Observation products has an enormous potential to support the evaluation of weather-induced climate risks.
