This project aims to enhance the performance and energy efficiency of multicore processors by improving cache coherence protocols. By reducing unnecessary operations and enabling speculative optimizations, it seeks to address the limitations of current multicore architectures in various digital devices.
Multicore processors are present nowadays in most digital devices, from smartphones to high-performanceservers.
The increasing computational power of these processors is essential for enabling many importantemerging application domains such as big-data, media, medical, or scientific modeling.
