The ecoDESIGN project aims to enhance sustainability in the aviation industry by assessing materials, processes, and resources used throughout an aircraft's life cycle. It develops methodologies and tools for comprehensive environmental analysis, focusing on innovative technologies and socio-economic impacts.
Integrating ecologic, economic and socio-economic effects, ecoDESIGN will strongly contribute to sustainability and future competitiveness of the European aviation industry according the European Eco innovation agenda.
