ECO-India focuses on creating affordable water and wastewater treatment systems for communities in arsenic-affected regions of India. The project aims to implement pilot schemes that include arsenic removal, water quality monitoring, and energy-efficient water treatment technologies.
The overall aim of ECO-India is to design and develop innovative cost-effective solutions for community- based water- and wastewater- treatment systems.
These systems will be deployed at pilot sites in arsenic-affected water-stressed regions in India.
