This research focuses on analyzing urban sustainability by integrating urban metabolism and ecological footprint methods. It aims to identify key urban activities contributing to environmental impacts and inform policy decisions through a comprehensive understanding of urban systems.
Today, at the beginning of the 21st century, the majority of the world’s population are living in urban areas, generating significant pressure on the supporting ecosystems.
