This project aims to develop new methods for the early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease by using implicit measures of memory encoding. By employing advanced brain imaging techniques, the research seeks to identify cognitive deficits in older adults before significant symptoms appear.
Demographic analyses predict that one third of the 10 millions Belgian population in 2050 will be above 60 years of age.
