This project aims to create smart electronic glasses for individuals with low vision, utilizing computer vision and augmented reality technologies. The glasses will enhance perception by detecting obstacles and improving visual clarity, thus assisting users in daily tasks and mobility.
Who is Biel?
Biel is a child who has low vision.
We are a highly experienced multidisciplinary team, composed byprofessionals coming from the ICT business, from the clinical research and from the vision diseases research, that havejoined to develop smart electronic glasses for Biel and for all who suffer from this disability.
Low vision is a condition causedby eye disease, in which vision is permanently limited and cannot be improved with regular glasses, medicine, or surgery.
