This project focuses on developing methods for enantioselective photochemical reactions, which are essential for creating complex molecular structures. By utilizing light to drive these reactions, the project aims to enhance organic synthesis for various applications, potentially using sunlight as the energy source.
Photochemical reactions are induced by ultraviolet or visible light and they enable the construction of molecular skeletons that are difficult or even impossible to access by any other means.
