The ELIOT project aims to enhance the end-of-life management of biocomposite materials by developing innovative recycling technologies. It evaluates and tailors existing treatment methods to improve sustainability and efficiency in the disposal of biobased composites used in various industries.
ELIOT aims to provide new innovative and green technologies for EoL of commonly used natural fibres and biobased resins with increased resource efficiency and fully align these biomaterials with the circular economy principles (Figure 1).
