EmbRace explores how racialization affects the bodily and sensory experiences of Muslims through recreational running. By analyzing movement and narratives, the project aims to understand the impact of social hierarchies on outdoor activities and theorize the multisensory dimensions of racialization.
Muslims are the focus of political anxieties in Europe and the US.
