EMDA_LoOp aims to enhance knowledge in electrical machines and drives for automotive applications. It focuses on improving the efficiency and noise levels of electric power units in vehicles through collaborative research and knowledge transfer between experienced partners.
Due to the replacement of engine-driven loads with electric power units, the electrical power requirements of a modern car has been rising rapidly during the last decades and are expected to continue to rise.
