This project investigates the neural mechanisms of empathy and emotional understanding through training. By employing various interdisciplinary methods, it aims to enhance empathy in individuals and explore brain plasticity, with implications for treating social deficits in populations like those with autism.
Social neuroscientists study the neural mechanisms underlying our capacity to understand our own and other people’s feelings.
