This project focuses on developing advanced imaging tools for endoscopic surgery to enhance the visualization of blood vessels. By combining expertise from medical and technological fields, the goal is to create innovative solutions that improve surgical outcomes.
One of the main goals in endoscopic surgery is to improve reproducibility and safety by means of computer assisted systems to improve the surgeon’s vision.
The main objective of this Transfer of Knowledge action is to conduct a common research programme leading to the development of new endoscopic assisted vision tools for real time enhanced identification of blood vessels (vascular vision).
