This project investigates the role of the Myo1b protein in shaping sorting endosomes, which are critical for cellular trafficking. It aims to uncover the molecular mechanisms by which Myo1b influences endosomal morphology and the sorting of proteins.
Sorting events that occur in endosomes are very important for cellular trafficking of proteins and membranes along the endocytic pathway.
