This project aims to develop a bi-modal imaging probe that combines Positron Emission Tomography and Ultrasound for enhanced visualization of small internal structures. The goal is to improve diagnostic capabilities and reduce invasiveness in medical procedures.
In the frame of this project it is proposed to define and build a bi-modal PET-US (Positron Emission Tomography and Ultrasound) endoscopic probe combining in a miniaturized system a fully digital, 200ps time resolution Time of Flight PET
