EngVIPO aims to address Osteochondral Injuries by developing advanced biofabricated implants that promote tissue regeneration. The project focuses on creating personalized solutions through innovative biomaterials and manufacturing techniques, enhancing the healing of cartilage and bone interfaces.
Osteochondral Injuries (OCI) is a challenging yet common clinical problem for orthopaedic surgeons worldwide and is associated with multiple clinical scenarios ranging from trauma to osteonecrosis.
