This project explores the largely uncharacterized domain of Archaea, focusing on uncultured microorganisms that play significant roles in biogeochemical cycles. It aims to use advanced genomic techniques to uncover their diversity and ecological functions.
The Archaea represent the Third Domain of Life and comprise a group of microorganisms that are important players in major biogeochemical cycles.
