ENLIGHT aims to develop lightweight materials for electric vehicles, focusing on cost-effective and sustainable solutions. The project seeks to create innovative materials that reduce weight and carbon footprint, enabling their application in medium to high-volume electric vehicles.
Lightweight materials such as carbon-fibre reinforced plastics have been used up to now mostly in high-performance cars with relatively high cost & low production volumes.
