This project aims to enhance the breeding success of the endangered aye-aye by identifying its chemical signals related to fertility. It integrates behavioral studies and microbiota analysis to improve captive management practices.
Of 504 primate species currently recognized worldwide, almost half are classified as endangered or critically endangered.
