This project investigates the process of entosis, where one cell engulfs another, particularly in cancer contexts. It aims to uncover the molecular mechanisms behind this phenomenon and its potential role in tumor suppression.
Entosis is a recently discovered process of live cell engulfment in which one epithelial cell is completely internalised by another, forming a 'cell-in-cell' structure.
