The eNVENTORY project proposes the creation of a European e-Infrastructures Observatory to benchmark and assess the impact of e-Infrastructures. It aims to develop a user-friendly web platform that provides access to a standardized database of indicators for stakeholders and the public.
Within the EARNEST foresight study, a prelude but systematic benchmarking undertaking was conducted, with the spotlight on the Research and Education Networking Infrastructures that resulted to a framework called Research and Education Development Index – REDI, as a first step of measuring the progress of eInfrastructures.
