EnviroCitizen explores how citizen science can foster environmental citizenship through birding activities. The project aims to evaluate citizen engagement in these activities and develop educational interventions to enhance environmental awareness and participation across Europe.
While many projects have stressed the scientific quality of citizen science activities, there has been less inquiry into the citizen part of the phrase citizen science.
