This project investigates how environmental factors like diet and stress influence the RNA profiles in mammalian sperm, which may affect the traits of their offspring. Using advanced RNA sequencing technology, it aims to understand the dynamics of sperm RNA and its modifications during sperm development.
Mammalian sperm RNA is increasingly recognized as an additional source of paternal hereditary information beyond DNA.
