This study focuses on creating composite indicators to assess progress in establishing a European Research Area, monitoring structural changes in national economies, and evaluating research excellence across member states. It aims to enhance the effectiveness of science and technology policies.
The study will address the development and testing of three composite indicators to measure progress in:1) construction and integration of a European Research Area (ERA), to monitor the overall performance of the Science and Technology
